Taiwan trip Day 3 - Boyfriend oh my boyfriend how I miss you TONS!

It was a beautiful day, and I thought about you like crazy I am no kidding. Everything reminds me of you, and I just so wished you could have been there with me. Boyfriend you are my blue sky and I am your white clouds. Nothing can create a better picture when they are together. I love you boyfriend..... I miss you. I can't wait till the day we finally be together my silly. It will be SO GREAT and I will be soooooooo happy. You are the source of all my happiness, Zach Owens.

We went to an area which was pretty far from TaiPe City. It took us an hour and thirty minutes to get to our destination, and it was a fun trip because we traveled by bus this time. I've never been on a bus for over an hour.. it was more like a coach than a bus, but if there weren't enough sit people would stand. But HEY that's an hour drive. I would rather wait for another bus than having to stand for an hour. There were Japanese travelers in the bus with us, and I was surprised that the bus driver could tell them how to pay IN JAPANESE. Kai told me that all the bus drivers in Taiwan are supposed to know Chinese, Taiwanese, English and Japanese all four languages. Isn't it madness?

Oh, and I accidentaly hit my head real hard on the glass window when I fell asleep during the ride. My mum and Kai were laughing pretty hard behind me because they said they could hear it So LOUD. Just thought you would enjoy knowing...

This area where we went visit was famous with their Japanese style traditional housing. When Taiwan was still one of the Japanese' colonies, there were many Japanese lived at this area because this hill was famous with their gold digging business (how do you call that?) People have been digging gold for hundreds of years until the economy went down and the factory got shutted down. It then became a tourist attraction due to their special housing and the historical old gold digging factories.

My mum and I, sitting in front of one of the Japanese palace which was belong to one of the princes.

Hill full of gold.

We went to a historical gold digging museum to learn about the history of that area of Taiwan. We got to go into those holes and experience what was it like to be a gold digger at that time.

Mum and I ready to get in.

After walking around and visiting different museums they had, we went to another place for food and traditional shops.

It was pretty fun but AWFULLY CROWDED.

Taiwanese one hundred dollars. $1 HKD = $4 NTD, $1 USD = $8 HKD.... oh so you know the sum.

We then went back to TaiPei City to visit the TaiPei 101 tower. It's the tallest tower in Taiwan and it's the tallest office tower in the world (if I am right........)

On our way. Sunset = romantic.

The TaiPei 101!

We went into the 101 mall to shop for a while. So while I was shopping at a bookstore and reading books, the girl who stood next to me suddently went "OHHH GOSH I LOVEE your bag. Where did you get it?" I was sooooo surprised because it was just a normal bag and I started wondering if she wanted something from me (coz you know, it's a city.) so I just politely told her where I got it and was ready to run away. But she started talking to me and she was really friendly, so I talked to her for a while but we stopped when Kai came and get me. Kai asked if I knew her and I said no, and he went "Oh maybe she likes you and wants to get to know you." and I said it's ridiculous because she is a girl. Kai said gender doesn't matter in here.
WOW.
Anyway, by the time we left the sun was already half down and it was SO PRETTY. Wished you could be there with me!

Kai and I had some great conversations today. He told me that he has sold all his cameras because he has lost all his interests in taking pictures. He felt tired of carrying the camera with him everywhere, and he just thought there were no points taking pictures anymore. I was kinda sad when I heard him say that... You know how talented he is, and he is one of the greatest photographers that I know. I asked if that's because his girlfriend broke up with him but he said it wasn't the main reason. He really has lost all his interest in taking pictures and he wants to concentrate on doing something else. :(

So while I was walking on the street I saw a guy wearing a dress and high heels walking like a girl. I was scared and asked if Kai saw that. He was like "yea it's pretty normal here." He said that they feel comfortable wearing the opposite gender's clothes and it's everywhere here in Taiwan. I was shocked. I told him that I have gay friends but I never seen any of them doing that. It was the first time in my life and wow.
